Special Message from Pastor Tom
Genesis 50:18-20
His brothers also came and fell down before him and said, “Behold, we are your servants.” But Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.Joseph understands that in the sovereign control of God, the ultimate purposes of God supersede the hatred of people. The uncertainty and suffering of life is no match for the Sovereign creator of the Universe. There will be moments where you and a loved one sit down across from each other and weep over a tragedy of life that does not make sense. You will look at them through bloodshot eyes that glisten with tears and ask “why?” and the only possibly answer at the moment is I. don’t. know.
If I am sitting across from you, my answer is the same. I may not always know why but I know my God. He is Sovereign and is working. He loves you and is perfectly wise. Trust him. Run to him. Cling to him. God’s control extends to every area of life, there is nothing beyond the God of the Bible.
Christmas Eve Service
Plan to come to be here on Christmas Eve (Dec 24) from 6-7pm where we will have

• Family Carol Sing
• Candle lighting
• Massive candy cane gift for kids/teens

Mission Trip Updates!
