Within God’s church, there is a kaleidoscope of diversity and opportunities for ministry to one another. As you gather with fellow believers, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a beautiful tapestry of people from all walks of life. From forklift drivers to painters, automotive mechanics to stay-at-home parents, every individual brings with them a unique perspective and, in Christ, has been brought by God to give a valuable contribution to the body of the church. As you worship and fellowship together, you’ll encounter individuals who have grown up in a Christian home but have recently taken new steps of faith in Christ, as well as those who have deep spiritual maturity. You will also meet and have opportunities to pray for those who are exploring Christianity for the first time. You’ll sit beside Christian brothers and sisters of different races and ethnicities, whose experiences and perspectives will broaden your own understanding of God’s world. And in every person, you’ll see the image of God shining forth, testifying to the love and grace of our Savior. The opportunities for spiritual growth, mutual encouragement, and prayer are endless, and the Good News of Jesus Christ will continue to save and transform all who put their faith in Him.
