Church Work Day

Good news, everyone! Our church work day is this Saturday morning from 9am until roughly 1pm. We’re inviting all of you to join us! We need your help to spruce up our building, and we promise it’s going to be a productive day of work, community-building, and laughter. Please bring along your paint brushes and drop cloths to help give our walls a fresh coat of paint. We’re also planning to do some cleaning and reorganizing. Together, let’s transform our church into a beautiful space that is welcoming and reflects our Lord well. See you there!

Breakfast & Worship in Gymnasium

This Sunday is a special day as we get to gather together for breakfast and worship in the gymnasium. Due to our workday Saturday and any lingering paint fumes, we will meet in the gym. Let’s take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to fellowship and build connections with one another. No matter who you are, everyone is welcome to come and there is no cost. Let’s spend the morning not only filling our stomachs but also getting to know one another deeper. Let’s spread joy and encouragement as we come together to worship and celebrate our wonderful Savior.

Blessing Bags

The Women’s Missionary Fellowship is making Blessing Bags for members in our church who are sick, unable to attend church, or just need encouragement. Please help us be a blessing by donating some of the following items by Nov 12th.
• Toiletries
• Snack Foods
• Devotionals
• Magazines
• Miscellaneous helpful items.

From the Desk of Pastor Tom

Jesus Christ brings hope! As we spend time in God’s Word we see God’s good design for life. God desires to guide your family life into love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The goal is a home full of individuals desiring to live out the love of Christ. God instituted the family unit back at the beginning of Genesis but shortly after Adam and Eve sinned family conflict showed up. The peaceful beauty of God’s perfect world was marred by sin and then the ground was quickly stained by the blood of a murdered brother. Cain hid Abel in a shallow grave. Sibling rivalry had turned deadly. The relationships that should be the safest and most helpful become painful when sin invades. If you pay attention, you will see and hear cries for help from people who understand innately that life shouldn’t look the way it currently does. Everyone wants a peaceful home but messed up people tend to make messed up families. This is where Jesus grace enters in transforming and empowering. Jesus is greater.
So what does family life look like with Christ in view?
Fathers – Are actively engaged as loving Christ-like leaders in the home.
Parents – Encouraging spiritual growth rather than provoking and discouraging their children.
Children – Obeying and following parents in ways that are pleasing to the Lord.
