Exciting news at Eastside! This Saturday, we’re hosting a rare event where local firefighters will conduct a controlled building burn. It’s a fantastic opportunity for everyone to see firsthand the incredible dedication and skill of our firefighting teams – and lots of fire trucks. The day kicks off at 9am with our doors open to everyone – perfect to bring friends and family who could be curious about our church community. We’ll be providing refreshments, with the big burn scheduled for noon. This is more than just a spectacle; it’s a chance to safely watch our firefighters in action. Don’t miss this unique and exciting event. Looking forward to seeing all of you there!
Get Ready for Sunday!
Get ready for an enriching Sunday as we continue our tour through the Book of Acts. To prepare, read through Acts chapter 4 and see how the good news of Jesus Christ was unstoppable. It was what people needed to hear then, and it’s what people need to hear today! The morning service from Pastor Tom is titled the “Unstoppable Power of God”.
Also, the Bible Study at 9:45am with Chip Edwards will be looking at the Big Picture in our study in Galatians. These early Christian struggles with understanding Saving Faith are engaging and thought-provoking. If you want to get ahead, do a quick read-through of the book of Galatians. We can’t wait to explore it with you!
