Church Workday was Amazing!
Thank you so much to everyone who helped during our workday!

Spring Fling
April 19th (next Saturday) 11am-2pm – We can still use additional candy donations, and if you can help during the event, there is a sign-up sheet in the lobby (we still need a few more people to help with games).
Men’s Breakfast
May 3rd at 8:30am – This will be our final Men’s breakfast before we take a break for the summer. Come join us in the morning for some good hearty food and encouraging time with other men.
Lake Norman Orchestra
May 3rd at 6pm – This is a free event to show appreciation to our church for letting them rehearse here.
It will be a wonderful FREE evening of music and is a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbors!
Pregnancy Resource Center Banquet
May 5th – This is a key fundraiser for the crisis pregnancy center in Statesville, and we are privileged to partner with them each year to help provide servers for the banquet. If you are willing to help us seat guests and serve drinks or if you are interested in attending the banquet, please let Amy Horton know. to help make this event extraordinary and impactful.
Lord’s Supper Preparation Helper
We are looking for someone to help prepare the elements for the Lord’s Supper on the weeks we celebrate. It takes about 10 minutes before Adult Bible Study or before the service. Helping involves pouring the juice and preparing the crackers, then setting them up on the communion table at the front of the auditorium. If you are willing to help with this approximately every 6 weeks, please let one of the deacons know.
From the Desk of Pastor Tom
Sunday, we will be considering Jesus’ crucifixion together. As we move closer to celebrating Easter, I encourage you to take time to read John 18 before Sunday. The main focus for the sermon on Sunday will be in the following chapter (John 19), but this chapter shows us the events of Jesus’ arrest and the beginning of his trial before Pilate. Jesus knew what was coming and was still willing to offer himself for you and for me. What a Savior we have!
