Message: “From Suffering to Glory” from Tom Wiggs

Jesus didn't come down from the mountaintop with a sword of flame, ready to conquer his enemies. He came down to go to the cross—and that defies every story we've ever been told. But that's exactly the point: the glory of God displayed at the Transfiguration wasn't a detour from the suffering; it was the promise that suffering would not be the end.
