Signups are open for our Summer Arts Camp. Space is limited for this first summer so please sign up as soon as possible if interested. Our church family has a special cost of $50/child. There are scholarships available. Please let us know if you have any questions or need help.

Update on Kevin
Praise the Lord! Kevin has moved from the hospital to a rehab facility. Please continue praying for him and his family as there is still a lot of work to be done before he can return home. Pray for physical and mental strength as he works towards his return.

Missionary Need
Our missionary, JD Highfill, will be in the US for 8-10 weeks between July and September. He is looking for a car to travel to his various meetings. He would prefer not to purchase something since the trip is so short. If you have any leads about a vehicle he could use during that time, please let us know. Thank you!
Pastor’s Graduation Celebration
Let’s celebrate with Pastor Tom! Everyone is invited to Chip and Pam Edwards’ home on May 18th, between 4 PM and 7 PM. Hotdogs (and cake) will be provided (vegan options will be available). Please bring a side dish or beverage to share as we celebrate with Pastor Tom. Also, the pool will be open, but it’s gonna be cold 🙂

From the Desk of Pastor Tom
If you are not aware, our church has various connect groups that meet during the week in homes around our community. These groups are an intentional part of our Church family life together and I want to push each of you towards being involved with one of these groups. We are currently studying through the book “Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy” which helps Christians walk through the gap between God’s goodness and the hardships of life. This is a deeply helpful book and the biblical truth it shares is encouraging and eye-opening. Come work through this book with us and become part of a connect group. These groups meet every other week and each group has a unique meeting time and location. These meetings are opportunities to live out God’s commands to gather, pray, encourage, and rejoice together. Acts 2:46 describes the early believers intentionally and joyfully meeting in the temple and in each other’s homes to break bread and praise God. If you need more information about connecting with one of these groups, please see me or one of the deacons!
