What is a Sunday like here?
Eastside Baptist is here to ensure that every man, woman, and child in Mooresville has multiple chances to see, hear, and respond to the gospel. Each week, you’ll experience heartfelt worship, Christ-centered preaching, and an engaging kids ministry. Whether you’ve grown up in church or are visiting for the first time, we strive to make you feel at home.
What type of music do we sing?
Our worship is rooted in God’s Word and centered on His character. Eastside’s desire is for everyone who joins us to leave inspired, filled with awe for all that Jesus has done. We are committed to singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16) through heartfelt, contemporary worship.
How is the Teaching?
At Eastside Baptist, our preaching is expository and centered on the gospel. We aim to clearly reveal the meaning of each Bible passage while emphasizing how all Scripture connects to God’s greater story. Every sermon reflects the biblical truth that our love for God grows as we understand His deep love for us—most clearly seen in Jesus’ sacrificial death. The Gospel remains the focus, and Jesus is always at the center.
What about my Kids?
We want kids to encounter Jesus and build lasting friendships. Each week, they explore the Bible, learning about Jesus and His incredible love for them. Through engaging lessons, activities, and worship, we believe every child can grasp the truth of the Gospel in a meaningful way.

What should I wear?
Don’t feel like you have to dress up. Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
What does Eastside believe?
We’re a gospel-centered community that celebrates the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
How long is a service?
Services last about one hour and 15 minutes. We start by singing a few songs, then one of our pastors, usually our Lead Pastor Tom Wiggs, will deliver a message. If you want a preview of the type of messages we hear on an average Sunday, check out our current series.
What do you offer kids?
We offer Children’s Church, Sunday School, and Nursery services.
